On behalf of everyone at Pendleside Hospice I would like to say a big thank-you to all of the individuals, organisations and local businesses who supported Pendleside in 2021 and helped to keep our services operating during very challenging times.
We seriously could not have provided the care we have to the people who needed our support without their dedication and commitment to Pendleside over the last year.
Never more has this support been more valued; at the time of writing this, we are currently making plans for how we can respond to support the new surge in infections expected as part of the Omicron variant.
Hopefully, as the booster vaccination programme is stepped up, and we enter the New Year, we will be able to continue to bring back all our face-to-face services, maintain the virtual services where they have worked well, and continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of all who need our care.
So, looking forward to a more prosperous New Year, I would like to wish all of our supporters best wishes for 2022.
